Here are some more shots of the owls I saw on Monday afternoon right before sunset. One flew right over us in the third image.

I’d be ecstatic to have taken any of them and they are all excellent. I like the head turn you’ve captured on the first two images and the pose on the third is outstanding. Great work.
Lovely series and I agree with Hans that the second one has a killer BG, slight head turn, and upper wing plumage showing off those nice color patterns…Jim
