Good frozen action here and the light is pretty special. Yes it lights everything nicely, but especially highlights the wings and there’s a nice rim around the head and neck. Too bad it’s facing away though. We can’t control that, I know, but darn. You also might tone the foreground down just a bit since it’s very bright and has enough detail to be a focus of attention.

Pretty much clone what @Kris said on this one, Dave. I like the wing position and the trailing water a lot.

Nice take off shot with the water action and wing position. Nice job on the white wings. Maybe a tad more room for the egret to fly into?
