Description

I just arrived at Rocky Neck State Park, when is Osprey flew in looking for breakfast. In these last two shots, I just managed to keep the Osprey in the far left hand side of the frame. Thank you for stopping by.

Nice flight shots. You do a good job of getting detail in the underwing area.

Nice flight shots, Peter. You might add some canvas to the left side of that second one if DxO lets you do so. If it doesn’t, since it’s just uniform blue sky you could probably do it in whatever your computer’s default image program happens to be (Microsoft paint on a windows machine).

Peter - really nice flight shots! The bright eye and flight pose in the first image is especially good.
Nice catches!

Osprey have wonderful patterns on the undersides of their wings which you captured nicely. Getting more canvas on the LH side of your second image will improve the comp. Even though the osprey is moving away from the viewer, I like the third one the best because of the lighting. Well done…Jim

Hi Allen, Dennis, Sandy & Jim
Thank you for your kind words. I was sitting on the last two photograph, because of the over all frame issue. DXO PhotoLab doesn’t offer a way to add canvas and my Mac’s Photos has the same limits. I just will have to get better at tracking birds.
Peter

Wow! Fantastic flight shots Peter. The eye in each is really crisp and clear. There are really great details in the feathers and very nice angles throughout. Nice work.

Hi Ed
Thank you for your kind works.
