Peter - great series of the eagle! (LOL!)
Nice poses in each image . Sharp and great environment.
I like the third one best, with that gaze to the sky.
Excellent work here!!

Very nice series of the Osprey, Peter. I agree with your choice of the lead in shot. I do think it’s the nicest pose. The whites look perfect on this screen.

Hi Peter, I like the first image best too. A nice composition with the bird standing out from the grasses and a good pose.

Hi Sandy, Dennis & Allen
Thank you for your comments, the Osprey just sat there and soaked up the sun.
Sandy both Eagles and Ospreys have dark brown wings and white marking on the head, but the Eagle do not have white chest feathers.
I have posted a Juvenile and adult Eagle and an Osprey in flight.

Hi Peter, All nice shots of the Osprey. I like the environmental aspect with the grass and log. I’d probably go with the first as I like that far off look it has.

Nice shots Peter. I really like the low, ground level angle you got with these images. Nice details, lighting, and poses for all of them.

Peter, you really got some nice shots. I like that you got down to his level.

Hi Allen, ED & Shirley
Thank you for the comments, It helps when they stay put and I can just float by the Osprey.
Peter

Peter, you know I was kidding! I’m remembering that time I didn’t look carefully before I commented on another osprey image of yours and called it an eagle!

Hi Sandy
Sometime the obvious get my be, I just though you had some confusion on spotting a standing Eagle.
Peter
ps
It also gave me reason to post 3 more photographs.
