Description
We had a flock of turkeys cruise thru our backyard early this morning and here’s a tom I got with an interesting backlight as he was showing off.
Specific Feedback
Overall. I reduced the brightness of that upper right branch some. I Thought I’d leave it in there to kinda keep the balance of that part of the BG. Yeah?

Excellent detail and light. I 'm in favor of keeping the greenery on the left. Good foreground/background DOF. We have turkeys in our neighborhood as well and this morning I took an early walk and witnessed about 25 leaving their fir tree roost and flying to the ground-quite a sight to see these large birds in flight.
Cool backlit image, Dave. Some of the highlights on the edges look a bit hot, but with the backlight they don’t bother me much. I don’t know what evolution was thinking when it put such an ugly head on what is otherwise such a gorgeous bird.
I really like the lighting in this one Dave. I love this time of year when things get really cold outside.
Nice catch Dave. I like the rim lighting on the bird with nice details still intact. If it were mine, I’d try removing the greenery on the left and tone down the bottom elements. I could see adding more space on the left if that doesn’t create more problems composition-wise.
Though backlit, nwell handled
Green LUC is distracting to me - if u agree, try desaturating osme
