This is a piece of petrified wood that I dampened.
1/60th, f/5.6, ISO 6400, 135 mm.
Wow, you must have gotten up close and personal with that wood, Don. I wouldn’t have guess that’s what it is. The color is striking and I like all the black linear details. The lighter bit in the LLC catches my eye and pulls me out that way, just because it is the lightest element in the frame and is right on the edge/corner.
Hi Don, tons of great abstract qualities in your image. First the colors are eye catching. There is the mystery for what the true subject is and also the ambiguity of scale. Nice job!
