Fracture

Critique Style Requested: Standard

The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.

Description

It was a fairly ordinary photograph and I decided to play with the rectangular bounds.

Technical Details

The technical details don’t matter in my view.

Great to see something so different. For me it works on all levels. The only thing that jars just a little on first viewing is that the right hand section is larger; but the more I look, the more I can see it as being nearer the viewer. Top marks!

Thanks, Mike. :slightly_smiling_face:

Cool, fun and well done!! The perspective on the right hand piece messes with my mind. That’s also cool.

Tech details don’t matter here – they come into play more when people are on the learning curve.

Don, I like the arrangement and way to think outside the box. Thanks for posting!

Way to think outside the frame, Don! What made you decide on lavender for the background?

A belated reply, Bonnie. (I’ve been out of town.) I thought of the color as blue and that’s the compliment of the orange in the shot.
