This is great! It reminds me of the mud cracks and sandstone erosion I see in the desert where I live…

This subject makes for a great black & white image, enhancing the contrast of the ridges and the bottom of the holes. Maybe it’s just because I love contrasty images…I think you could darken the interior of the holes a bit to give it a bit more pop.

Great b&w image! I like how it allows my eyes to travel along the ridges, looking for patterns in valleys. I love the contrast, it works well and brings out the texure nicely. I can’t help but wonder if you brouught out a little more purity of white in a bit of the highlights what that would look like? But regardless of that thought you have a strong image here.
