The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.
Description
Recently I returned from a trip to Iceland, where we visited the interior, far from the tourist crowds.
The second image is the original one. I don’t like the cut-off ice at the lower edge. There is more in the RAW file, but there is no option to crop without cutting through other ice.
In the first image, I slightly cropped and cloned/filled till the lower edge is more or less clean.
Specific Feedback
Which image do you prefer? Do you mind the cut-off ice at the bottom of the image?
Any other comments are of course welcome as well.
Technical Details
Pentax K3 Mk. III, 55-300 @98mm, ISO800, f/11, 1/1000sec.
RAW conversion in DxO PL6, very little further adjustments.

A unique image I have never seen something like it. You have taken it with skill representing its atmosphere very well. With a longer lens could you have taken something more of the beautiful glacier? I too prefer the upper image.
Thank you @elizabeth and @Giuseppe_Guadagno for your comments.
Giuseppe, I have several close-up images of this (and other) glaciers, maybe I’ll post some here.
Han, you’ve captured the glaciers and icebergs beautifully here, including the marvelous translucent blues that are hard to get. I like the mist at the top, and the swirl of the glacier. I prefer the cleaner comp without the cut-off ice, and would actually suggest even more room at the bottom.
This is a really nice image!
Thanks @SandyR-B for your comment.
I agree, that more room at the bottom would be better. There is space enough in the file. But there is a lot of chaotic ice at the bottom and no appropriate place to crop, so I would be forced to clean it all up. In fact, I would need to create an artificial water surface there, which I don’t like.
Thank you @Stephen_Stanton for your comment. I understand your wish, as I do Sandy’s. The circumstances made it difficult to avoid these nits. I can offer you the image below, but that is a very different one.
As you see, including the complete turn of the glacier and some of the ice in the lake would include the higher ice on the left. I didn’t want that. There was no option to e.g. climb higher to have a different viewpoint.
That’s the reason, not an excuse Your comment is still very valid.
