I was driving down the Icefields parkway when this scene appeared. I found a spot to pull over and captured the image before the conditions changed.
Any feedback welcome. Comments on monochrome processing and foreground trees would be appreciated. Should have stopped down to f8 or f11.

The icefield parkway runs between Banff and Jasper park in the Rockies of Alberta Canada

This is really beautiful. I usually can’t imagine dramatic skys not in color but here you really showed hoe the black and white emphasize the amazing light in the sky and how it comes down. Also not being distracted by the green in the foreground emphasized it even more. I love how the trees and the mountain each frame the sky in a different way, creating a double frme. Really nice.
Bryan, this shows off the mountain light very well. You’ve got a great set of crepuscular rays and details in the sky and clouds. The tree silhouettes along the bottom set off the sky and distant mountains perfectly.
