Mountain range under stormy sky

Whilst fossicking amongst large rocks in a mountain valley in order to find interesting lichens to photograph, I came across this little scene on the face of a rock. It struck me as reflecting, in miniature, were I was at the time, with a mountain range in view under stormy cloud.

Just interested to know whether such ‘cutesy’ images have any appeal, other than personally to the photographer.

Nicely captured here, Phil. If anything, images like this garner more appeal than the typical grand scenics. This piece, though abstract, reflects your experience and view in a much more interesting manner than if you had instead captured the “true” view.
