Specific Feedback and Self-Critique

I was drawn into the bright mushroom sitting in front of the gnarly knot of the tree branch. I looked like a throne for some woodland creature.

The exposure of the mushroom is good. But I find the brightness of the throne at the top pulling my eye away. I feel if you had stopped down for this (and changed the angle a bit), the story, with throne in focus, would be more compelling. Maybe you could go back there in less bright conditions? It’s a beautiful mushroom, deserving to be a throne!
