No idea on the ID, David, but a wonderful in flight catch!
Nice tight, sharp, coming-at-you shot. Might be a mallard hybrid. We have some strange looking ducks at a local pond.
Beautiful photo, David! My first thought was it looks like a Mallard. And then I saw @Jim_Gavin comment! So it just might be.
