Saw this great egret yesterday at the neighborhood lake. He/she took flight and then landed right on the dock for a close up session.

Allen, I prefer the cleaner BG of the first shot - but I love the pose of the 3rd. A great way to start the year!

All are excellent, Allen. That’s one sweet lens they came up with. Detail is excellent in all the images and you did a great job on the whites. The third is definitely my favorite. I’ve always loved grooming poses, especially if there’s an eye visible.

Really like the third one with the sense of action being present and excellent detail as well. I do prefer the green background.

Allen, all are nice images! Whites are perfect, and great detail.
I prefer #3 because of the pose, and think the BG is fine, although it might be darkened a bit.
