The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.
Description
This little guy or gal flew in with Papa, gave me this pose then one with both of them (but not interacting) then they both left.
Specific Feedback
All comments welcome! The crop is tight on the right to eliminate a side branch that had been cut off. It wasn’t awful but didn’t look very natural.
Technical Details
Early morning shade. Minor tweaks to Shadows and Highlights in LR. Into PS for denoise and very minor cloning on the perch. A little soft-edged dodging and burning. Cropped to 24% of the original pixels. (I was zoomed wide and didn’t dare take time to change it.)

Thanks, @Dennis_Plank and @Allen_Sparks! I should clean the perch. (I’ll take a sponge down there tomorrow…) I love the 2X but have actually been using the 1.4X more from the new blind, as the 2X crowds the bigger birds. I could move the blind back a little but I’m liking the relative distance from me to the birds to the BG tree. If I move back the tree is not quite as pleasingly soft. Other than that, I’ve never seen any difference in IQ with the 1.4X vs the 2X, and the lens is almost always wide open.
Diane: what’s not to like about a beautiful fledgeling on a diagonal perch. I really like the soft tonality of the bird and the background. This photo deserves a print.
