While I was working in Texas this guy found me. I was set up for a landscape image and noticed him on an old fence next to me. He posed for me for several hours.
He never showed any fear look me straight in the eye.

This is fun. Love the soft colour and how the face is framed. Looks truly alien. This translates well on the small screen of my phone but wish it was sharper to view on my iPad or computer monitor. Thanks for sharing!

I like the spotlight effect on the head of the mantis. Quite a fascinating creature. Agree with the sharpness on the head.
