Description
A nudibranch is a type of soft-bodied marine mollusk, often called a “sea slug”, which is known for its incredible colors and striking patterns. This image was captured in Bali, Indonesia, while scuba diving at a site with volcanic sand seabed—an ideal habitat for these remarkable creatures.

Sandipan: How big is this creature? Those “horns” really grab your attention. The colors and patterns are fascinating and the tail is super cool as well. Nicely done. >=))>
Thanks @Bill_Fach . This was probably 4-5 cm long. Those horn like organs are called “rhinophore” which is a sensory organ found on the heads of nudibranchs. Thanks again.
It reminds me of the colorful slug caterpillars - but it’s even more fantastic, and more difficult to shoot! It fits well with the dark BG. I’d just suggest removing the green bits below the nudibranch - or at least the one closest to its tail. But, an excellent close-up.
