The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.
Description
I did a trip to the Eastern Sierras in October for my birthday and hoped to hit the fall colors at their peak. The first couple days were very disappointing. After that, the beauty just didn’t stop. I felt like I’d hit the jackpot. This was taken up Bishop Creek Canyon. This particular morning was the best of the whole trip. What a great birthday gift!

Chris - what a beautiful scene! The fall colour pallette against the blue sky is very enticing. Seems to be something a little funky with the water reflection - banding and some odd areas.
This cries out to me for a pano shot - any chance?
Sweet!
Chris, your presentation (and the very quiet water) do a fine job of emphasizing the symmetry in this lovely scene. The water looks just fine to me, with some rippling as expected. If you want, a bit of mid-tone contrast, would give this a bit more “pop”.
@Mark_Seaver Thank you for your feedback, Mark. I am not one who always likes flat, silky, or milky water in my images. I prefer some texture. I did go back and take care of a few minor spots in the water, though. I’ll try the mid-tone contrast.
