Where is the forest? 
Just kidding! I have gotten used to viewing your lovely woodland images that it seems strange looking at a beach scene. This is wonderful; it has this peaceful vibe to it that is very inviting. The pathway does an excellent job of directing the viewer to the beach beyond as well as those beautifully textured clouds. My only suggestion would be to try and tone down the bright area in the clouds just to the right of the tree. Very nicely done.

Looks like the wind has really been brutal on that tree, it makes for an interesting nature story. What a resilient little tree !!! I think the composition works, and is well balanced, I like the texture in the clouds, but agree with @Ed_Lowe about pulling back on the highlights in the one cloud he mentioned.
