On the Edge

Not so many great snowscapes where I live. This was along a stream on the June Lake Loop, eastern Sierras, returning from Death Valley last winter. I was taken by the shape of the melted ice along the edge. Any sort of critique is always welcome.

This is lovely, Bonnie. I like the dark winter branches, the diagonal lines, and the curves along the snowy shore.

This is a fine snowy winter scene, Bonnie. The icy edge is quite striking while the sharp tree reflections add frame filling drama. Nicely seen.

I like the contrasts in this, Bonnie! The contrast between colors, the brightness contrast and the contrast in textures, all delineated by a fancy line of ice. The line being diagonal helps the image also. Very nice!

This is nice, Bonnie. At first I thought I was looking at overhanging branches. Like @Gary_Minish I like how the bank and the tree reflections are lined up. Neat that the thin ice edge shows along the bank, and also that the bottom of the stream is visible in the clear water.
