There is a very urban park close to where I live . There are plenty of ducks; dumped domestics and native. This is a little Purple Swamphen

Glennie, that’s a very colorful bird. I like the pose and the mix of greens. The raised leg, head thrown back and the blurred wing tips suggest some kind of dance.
Wonderful sharpness and detail! It’s so fun when birds do that, and the raised foot along with the head scratch is extra icing! And a very pleasing composition and environment to go along with it!
