Description

I stopped by the side of the road in hopes of getting some taking off action shots of this red-tail. While I was waiting for it to take off I grabbed a couple of perched shots. I happened to get this pose of it looking down in the direction of the warning sign. It seems to know what it says. It took off moments later.

A fun image, Dave. It’s probably just the engineer in me, but I’d level the cross-beam perch.

Cool shot, Dave. The pose is great.

Hi Dave,
This is a great commentary kind of image. The kind that ends up in magazines, best photo op of the year kind of thing.

Aside from that, it’s well shot and a fantastic portrait of a bird playing with fire! I can’t decide whether it’s saying “Oh $4it” or “Go ahead, make my day!”
