The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.
Description
One of my first stacks using this 90mm macro lens,
I spotted this spider on top of some tall withered flower heads, its was well disguised. A windy day day made the stack difficult so I upped shutter speed to 1/640.
Specific Feedback
Some general feedback would be great . Thank you

First of all, a big welcome, Tony! Getting a stack as sharp as this in wind is tricky, but you did well. For this spider the markings are more interesting probably than the eyes, and they suit the B and W treatment. I might crop in even closer just a wee bit to omit the bud in the LRC as well as that flower entering on the left side. The shot can stand closer cropping for sure. You’re going to have lots more fun with that lens. I got the 60mm, and am torn now between going for the 90mm and the 100-400mm. I’m looking forward to seeing more of what you can do with your 90mm!
Hi Mike, thank you for the welcome, delighted to have found this community of Nature photographers. I took your suggestion of cropping in closer and yes it certainly improves the shot. I’ve only been using the lens for a few weeks, so lots of learning still to do and I’m loving the results so far. I only have the 90 mm so can’t give you a comparison versus the 60mm only to say the 90mm doesn’t disappoint. Thank you so much for your review and helpful advice.
Welcome, Tony. A very cool image of this spider tucked away in the flower head. You nailed the focus zone beautifully. I agree with Mike’s crop suggestion. Very well done.
Tony, welcome to NPN and the Weekly Challenge. This is a fine looking view of this spider. I will admit to some confusion about where it’s head is. Are the two little black dots it’s eyes? The high key approach and having it’s perch angled across the frame work very well. I do think that some subtle detail in the whitest parts at the front would be good.
