The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.
Description
I watch this Western Spotted Orbweaver build this web as he went in circles from the outside inward. Some of the basic web was there. I took a lot of photos and this one is just as he finished.
Specific Feedback
Morning sun which highlighted the web a little bit. Not sure how to address that without making the background darker behind the web. Does it look ok.
Technical Details

Dean, getting both the spider and the web decently sharp is a challenge, that you’ve handled well here. The brightness of the web looks fine to me. As a minor nit, you might want to burn-in that bright background spot near the upper right corner. As is, this is a fine look at this spider and her web.
Very nice, Dean. I really like the angle of the light in this image that backlight’s the spider and brings out the web so nicely. I hadn’t really noticed the bright spot until I saw Mark’s comment-now I have to agree with him.
Thanks for the feedback, @Mark_Seaver and @Dennis_Plank. This morning there was a catch in her web so took some photos today. Not sure how the web survived the rain we got last night.
Dean: Great find and a terrific capture. Me three on the bright spot but the focus on the spider and the web is wonderful. I have found that the webs are amazingly strong and resilient and it takes a lot to tear one up. Looking forward to seeing the prey. >=))>
Dean, I too agree about the spot in the BG. I think you did a pretty good job capturing this one. I was trying my hand at a spider the other day, but it was breezy and I didn’t do as well as you did. The backlighting makes him stand out nicely. I’m looking forward to the shot with her prey too.
Dean, this is a wonderful find. Sharp spider with great colour and nice web. There are a couple dark blips along the lowest leg on the right that might be corrected.
Agree with burning the bright blip in the upper right - and I’m also looking forward to the prey!
