Taken with a Canon R5 and a Canon 200-400 zoom.
Description
I have always wanted to visit Blue Cyprus Lake in Florida. Finally got my chance. There are over 200 nesting pairs of Ospreys on this Cyprus Tree lined lake.
Nicely composed image Jerry with fine details and exposure. The whites look great to me. I like the inclusion of the hanging moss on the right. The branches and moss behind the bird are alright to my eye but you could try a version taking those out and see what you think. The image works nicely for me as is.
Welcome back, Jerry. You have beautiful detail and excellent control of the whites in this image with a solid composition. The only thing I could see you doing is burning in or removing a couple of brighter twigs along the top edge that tend to draw the eye. The pose is awesome. I’ll have to remember that location if I ever get to Florida again.
Good to see you back, Jerry. Excellent detail in the Osprey and I like the direct stare. Getting one with its catch adds interest. I like the environmental aspect as well. Hope to see more.
