David, this is an excellent image! Great pose, perfect handling of the whites, tongue exposed, bright eye, sweet perch and that mangled 1/2 fish!
Beautiful!

Excellent image, David. Glad to see you able to post. If you’re up to it a little bit of noise reduction on the background might be appropriate for this one, but it’s not serious.

Most excellent capture. On looking at it, I do see a bit of BG noise. Easy to deal with in photoshop. Select subject, invert, lower the noise. Done deal (you probably already know this procedure but, just case)

Nice catch David. Love the expression of the bird with the partial fish. Well composed with a pleasing BG. Agree on the BG noise. A well done image.

Hi David
The Osprey looks great, open bill, sharp eye and well controlled whites. There does seem to be some noise in the background.

A lovely composition! It would benefit from better NR – I don’t know what you use but there are basically one-click solutions that work very well.

The color channels are not well balanced, leading to a flatness and bluish cast. It should be addressed in raw but here’s a one-click curves with Auto checked. It made it a touch too reddish so I went to the red channel and pulled the curve down just a bit in the middle.
