An adult Bald Eagle was coming in for a landing in the shallow tide water and a juvenile apparently tried to block it. As you can see the block wasn’t very successful. I have 3 more frames that show the complete result. I’ll post the whole set in the Avian Showcase.

Great action shot. The look on the incoming eagle goes well with the caption. The third eagle seems rather indifferent to the encounter.
What an amazing, interesting shot, Gary. When I enlarged the image there was wonderful detail. I love the expression on the adult eagle flying in. He looks very annoyed at the whole situation. Love the pose of the juvenile. All around terrific shot.
Hi Gary
Sometime you get to photograph nature pecking order in action and this juvenile is getting an interdiction to the big league. I really like the framing, as the third Eagle could care less, about this interaction. The Eagles have great feather detail and coloring in this photograph.

I just viewed the series of photographs and the last shot nails the story down.
