A couple out walking, overlooked by a stand of maples at the country estate of Lyme Park in Cheshire. Taken last summer.

Ian , I like your style and composition of these trees.

It’s interesting how those people affect the image. The trees look so big compared to them. There’s a great sense of distance by the juxtaposition of those subjects.

I too find it amazing how this works, the people make the trees seem gigantic. And at least for me, it’s the people and not the distant trees that are responsible for this effect.
