You have captured the trillium flower in pristine condition, and actually showing its face. Very rarely have I seen the painted trillium, usually the red variety that has its flower facing the ground. Composition works as well. May I suggest that you use content aware to remove the bright green foliage on the left side of the image. Otherwise perfect imho.

Mike: I really like your capture of the flower and the light. I might crop this a lot tighter to get rid of some of the stuff on the edges. Nice find and a fine capture. >=))>
