Hi Diane. Love the pose with the backwards glance. Great color on the bird and fine details. I could see a version taking out the background vegetation on the right. Seeing the blue on the back of the bird like this is great.

Love it, Diane. Good pose and detail. It has a painterly feel to it, which for me is enhanced by the green flora. I think the flora gives the image some balance and added interest.

Nice, delicate and very attracting scene, I love the pastel colors, the almost-high-key exposure and the position of the bird. Very nice composition and picture, seems a moment suspended in time (as many good photographs are, indeed).

Towhees are pretty secretive, though if you have some brush nearby, they love water features in the summer. The bluebird is excellent. A very pleasing composition and their winter plumage is my favorite.

I must be asleep at the wheel to have missed these bluebirds. Quite outstanding. A very painterly feel, but with a “Diane” signature all over them.
