Path to Nowhere

Critique Style Requested: Standard

The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.

Description

The tree commands the clearing, branches clawing at the sky. Roots burrow into the earth with a grip born of ages. Leaves thrum with the day’s breath. A path to nowhere winds at its feet, an invitation to wander and wonder. The bush watches, still and stark, under the honest gaze of black and white.

Specific Feedback

Any feedback welcome

Technical Details

16 mm at ISO 400 and 1⁄100sec at ƒ/8

Your description is poetic, a well written caption to a wonderful B&W image. It looks like the path circles back to the front of the tree. The tree has power and dominance in this well composed image.

Another beautiful image and story, Don. I hope you don’t mind but I dodged the dark tree on the right.

I was sure that it was your before looking at the author. I love the perfect centrality and the brightness of the subjet that let it win the competition of the crowd around it. I love it.

Thanks Larry, appreciate your feedback!

Thanks Michael, nice dodging, it works. :+1:

Thanks Giuseppe glad you like it!
