Specific Feedback
I considered making the leaf tip on the bottom go away but thought better of it until I get some opinions regarding keeping it. ?

Bill,
I did not notice that leaf until you mentioned it. The bright flower petals steal all the attention. Given that, I don’t think removing the leaf tip is at all necessary.
Leaf tip is minor and you can remove it if you find it bothersome. I did not notice it until I read the description in your post. I’d leave it in! I like this type of comp with a strong subject. Flower and lighting are excellent…….Jim
Excellent work on this one, Bill. The leaf doesn’t bother me a bit. The composition is excellent, though I wouldn’t mind just a touch more room on the top and both sides if you have it.
Hi Bill,
The light is exquisite as is the flower. The details in the large version are a real treat and I am loving the graceful lines of the leaves in the BG. I am going to buck the trend and vote for removing that leaf as it was the first thing I noticed. This is a beautiful flora portrait; nicely done.
Wonderful subject and light!! The leaf tip didn’t bother me in the thumbnail but it is more prominent in the large view. Why not go for an 11 and prune it!
This is wonderful Bill! It’s such a beauty, and the detail in your images is really eye-catching at full-size. I think the leaves are a perfect background.
I wouldn’t remove the leaf, but you could drop the luminosity of the brighter edges so eye snag is reduced.
