There are some wonderful dilapidated towns around the borders of Death Valley that are worth exploring. I came across an abandoned gas station whose walls were pealing.

Wonderful eye to see this, Igor. Very interesting shapes and lines , a hint of colour, and perfect comp - a winner!

Thanks and welcome back Sandy.

Igor, The image says it all about the dilapidated
( new word to me) state by the shapes and colors of the place. I can imagine how it looks over there.
A work of art to me !!

I saw this on my smallish tablet last night Igor, but I’m glad I waited until I was on a computer with a real screen to comment. The geometry of the cracks and peeled areas is wonderful. On the tablet, the two-toned looked a little odd, but on the computer the subtle brown-blue mix in the upper 2/3 of the image makes the blue in the bottom 1/3 work very well. An excellent image.

Yeah, the blue is a wee bit too strong at the bottom, It’s more obvious in the print. Rats. Haven’t had an easy print all morning. Needs a clockwise title too.

As I scrolled through the thumbnails and the top of this came into view, I knew it was yours. It was the subtle color palette. I agree with Dennis that the geometry of the cracks are great. The blue is a bit too blue, but the brown/blue combo is super.

A very fine EP, Igor - congrats

Thank you, Sandy. I can do better, I feel.

Thank you for your comments. I don’t know how I feel about this one. It’s kind of phlegmatic, but I suppose it’s not meant to be a high impact image so it’s all right.
