Peony Undressed

Specific Feedback Requested

Removed the center flower petals on the peony to reveal the stigma and its great color. Used crepe myrtle as background leaves. The stigma reminds me of penguins standing together on an ice flow.

John Wayne: LOL at your penguin reference and I do indeed see what you mean. Really nice capture of this bloom and I like the BG. Nicely done. >=))>

Thanks Bill, Was reluctant to sacrifice the inner petals but went for it in order to reveal the colorful penguins standing at attention . . .vivid imagination probably required.

John Wayne, A nice capture of this flower. Funny as it is, I had to look at the enlarged view to see the penguins. Left upper background is a little bright, but it looks like you have already toned it down. It doesn’t impact the image much because the foreground bud puts the attention right on the flower.
