This baby giraffe looks tiny compared to the mama behind him, but knowing that this little one is about two meters tall puts it all into perspective :slightly_smiling_face:

The immediate impact is to show the difference in size between the young and adult giraffe. It does this well with the adult being out of focus, slightly hidden and only partially in frame.
I find some of the out of focus foliage a bit distracting and maybe the end of the branch near to the back of the head could be removed.

Thanks Ryan, for your kind comment. The depth of field is all I could achieve with f/2,8, so the foliage and the branch unfortunately are what they are in this photo. I don’t remove anything from my photos. If there’s something disturbing in there, I consider it tough luck and better next time :laughing: Thanks again! :pray: :pray: :pray:
