Description

Was sort of mesmerized by this Giraffe in the road while on safari in Zambia this past September. Its head was obscured by the tree canopy, but I kind of liked just the body shot. Unmistakenably a giraffe, right?

I like the composition Christine, it’s unusual but shows the giraffe in its environment.
It also clearly shows how we frequently encounter these huge animals, so close that we cant quite see it all! It serves to emphasise the sheer size.
I have also been fortunate enough to visit Zambia and enjoyed the Giraffe encounters and my attempts to fit them in the frame.
