Taken in mid afternoon in heavy shade. Another duck pond avian variation to the norm for the species. Interesting colors. Please see image from Dennis Plank posted earlier this week of the same critter.

Iso-2000, 500 mm F5 .6 PF at F7 .1, 1600th, 50% full frame, handheld, D 850, DxO photo lab, ACR, Topaz adjust, TK sharpening action at 1%, Green saturation reduced by 50%. Green luminosity adjustments.

Very good shot, David. I overexposed this sequence somehow. Great job getting such good eye contact from both of them.
