Pinecones in the sky

Description

This shot from a local park where there were numerous pinecones on the ground. I was able to isolate this particular tree from the rest. I converted to monochrome as it seemed to better emphasize the pinecones. My only concern is that the lines seem to lead one out of the photo

I’m enjoying the view up the tree, Richard. Going b&w does a good job of emphasizing the textures in the bark set off nicely by the bursts of needles and the cones. Deliberately cutting off the ends emphasizes the trunk and branches.
