Beautiful portrait, Gary! I love all the details of the soft looking fur. And she has such a gentle, sweet expression on her face. I also love the background blur of the pines. I think she would be proud to hang this on her wall!

What a nice portrait, Gary. I feel like I can just reach out and pet him (not a good idea, from what I understand). Such details, and that nice oof BG just makes him stand out.

Fantastic portrait, Gary. The detail in the fur is wonderful, as Shirley said. Lucky you to have these amazing creatures in your area. Nicely done.

Hi Gary,

Wonderful portrait and I also like the comp with the golden pattern on the shoulder. The details also make this a stellar photo due to the DOF covering the subject. Awesome…Jim

Wonderfully sharp portrait, Gary. Great processing too.

She is gorgeous. Looks like a young cow and the shading on the top of her head is a delight - reminds me of mink fur. You could add some contrast and not lose anything if that’s the look you’d like to have. Otherwise she’s soft and regal. Maybe a touch more canvas on the top…?

All said above – gorgeous light and a wonderful subject well posed against a perfect BG. Definitely not a petting zoo, though. I do think a bit more on top would be good, and easy to arrange.

It has all been said!
Great techs and beautiful portrait :heavy_heart_exclamation:

Great detail for a handheld shot at that distance. It says a lot about the glass and your steady hand as the 200-600 is quite the beast.
