This Sea Otter was hanging around the Sea Lions that were feeding on salmon and got its paws on a handful of salmon eggs. You could tell this was a precious prize because he just held them for a very long time, even when it rolled over in the water. When it finally ate the eggs it just closed its eyes and nibbled slowly, apparently in true bliss

A great image, very nicely captured!
The orange eggs really add some color to the frame and I also like expressions of Otter.
Gary after seeing you images with 200-600 mm lens, I’ve started admiring it!
I’m pretty happy with the lens too, Jagdeep. It’s not very fast but it has very smooth internal zoom that doesn’t change balance when you change the zoom level, it has very good motion compensation so its easy to shoot hand held, it finds and holds focus extremely well and the resolution is excellent for it’s price range. On top of that, my a6500 has a 1.5 crop factor so I’m really shooting with a 300-900 mm lens! The combination is actually a pretty nice setup for birding and wildlife because of the extra reach without using a multiplier.
