Red Oak in snow

We are fortunate to have a 200A park right in the middle of our small city and in the middle of that park is a 54’ tall stone tower that provides wonderful views in all directions. My favorite is a short view right into the middle of the canopy of a large Red Oak tree. Right after a blizzard that coated everything in white, the leaves were revealed by their color and marcescent qualities.

Hi John, I think this is a good subject but I find this photo does not help me focus on the difference between the oak tree and the others. Perhaps a tighter crop and more contrast would help bring things out more forcefully.
