A hawk seen on the walking path next to my backyard. He had just caught a crayfish from the drainage ditch behind my house.

Interesting, Allen. I didn’t know they’d catch aquatic prey. A very good image of the hawk and I really like the bit of crayfish in the beak and the rest in the talon. An excellent example of the adaptation of some species to the man-altered environment.
