Saw this hawk flying over a pond at the local botanic gardens yesterday. Partly cloudy morning.

Processed in DXO Pure Raw 3 and Photoshop.

I like all views but the first and last have the best lighting on the head. The middle one shows the light patches or windows near the wingtips which are an ideal field mark for this species. Well done…Jim

All three are lovely shots of this bird, Allen. We rarely get them around here so this is a nice treat. I particularly like the first and third, but the second shows a good view of the back. An ideal ID series for this bird.
