River flow #1

Reflections in moving water make fascinating abstracts. In this case, I wanted to catch the mix of distorted reflections as the water slides over a ledge and the splashes on the downside. I shot a series at 1/4 s, 1/8 s, 1/15 s, and 1/30 s and liked this one, at 1/30 s, the best because it shows some of the details in the splashing.

I really like this. Fascinating transition from abstract to white water. I would be inclined to pull the blue out of the water foamy water, but that is a personal taste thing.

Excellent abstract with wonderful composition. I like the shapes and the diagonals in the image. I do agree with Harley regarding the blue cast in the foamy areas.

I like this very much Mark. I think you got the SS perfect and the comp is intriguing.
