I like this photo. I just got back from Rocky Mountain National Park, and I am in the middle of processing some of my own images, so it was interesting to see your approach.
I think the longer shutter speed worked well here because the rocks break up the flow. Even though the water is rendered very smooth, there’s an effective “texture” from the rocks. I also like the monochrome treatment. I don’t really have any suggestions for improvement.

I had fun at this location and had a lot of trial and error with my composition and settings. The water was big and fast and the light was hit and miss, I think I got a bit lucky, LOL…
