Cool shapes and tones, Mike. I like the way the lines seem to lead the eye up and to the right (western bias). The softness of the petals and leaves(?) helps make this more abstract. In the smallest image some of the veins in the upper area start to show, but they go away in the larger versions. Nicely seen and executed.

I like it. It’s well balanced and the tones and colors are appealing. No, I have no idea what it is.
Lovely, Mike! I’m going with magnolia petals. The softly curving lines are beautiful and I love your green toning (if that’s what you did). Perhaps a crop off the top so the edge of the main green petal touches the top of the frame? That might give more of a sense of continuity. But it’s lovely as is, too.
Go to the front of the class @Bonnie_Lampley! It is a Magnolia grandiflora, and you can work out what I selected by looking at the original here:
It has been flipped here vertically and horizontally; then a pleasing design was cropped. I don’t think I adjusted the tones much. I’ve cropped a bit off the top now as you suggest and prefer that. And,
@Dennis_Plank, I’ve removed the distracting giveaway venation near the top. So the submission is now a minor rework.

Nice job on the rework, Mike. I didn’t find the venation distracting, but it did say vegetation.

Beautiful gentle curves and image Mike! I would have guessed some sort of flower petal. I love the overall composition of your image. The tonal values work well together especially the darker areas. The shapes remind of sand dunes.

I thought they suggested sand dunes too. Thank you for the EP.
I was initially intrigued by the of the shapes and tones - really super! Then began to appreciate the granular texture of the forms. Ascending to the right seemed off for the title of “Rolling Home”; flipping horizontally works a tad better for me, and seems to make better use of the bright section in the bottom quadrant.
Can I guess what it is? Figuring dunes, creatively colored.
Thanks @Dick_Knudson . Flipping 90 deg right sounds like good idea.
