The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.
Description
Walking through the woods looking for spring wildflowers and found this one.
Specific Feedback
I am wondering about the placement of the flower. Would it be better to move to the left since the flower is sort of facing the right? Also, is the blurred flower in the foreground distracting or only because I mentioned it?

Bill: I would definitely crop this tighter from the left and top. The OOF leaf doesn’t bother me at all. If it was an OOF white flower it would possibly be a problem but I’m OK with it. One other thing for you to cosider is to not post full size images. Recommended site guidelines ask for images 2000 pixels on the long side. My understanding is that if you post large images the site downsizes them pretty severely and you lose detail. On my crop it’s 2000 pixels tall and it’s a bigger file than your original which lets more of the fine detail in the drops, leaves and flower center to come through. This is a fine subject and I do like your DOF management especially. >=))>
A beautiful image of the flower, Bill. My comments were going to mirror those of @Bill_Fach almost precisely, so I’ll let his stand in stead. A lovely subject and very well handled.
