The eye of the ibis has lots of expression. It must feel good to get all of its feathers adjusted. Whites and blacks are spot on. Lots of room around the bird, but you could easily go with a vertical comp too. Well done…Jim

I agree with Jim, you could look at 4/5 framing to give the Ibis and its shadow more room. Nice photograph.

Very cool, Sandy. I love fluffed out birds and this one is excellent with great control of the whites. I agree that a vertical crop might show the bird off even better.

I agree with the comments of the others with the exception of changing to a vertical comp. While that would show off the bird a bit more, I like having more of the environment included.

Hi Sandy, great pose and control of the whites. The details are very fine. I prefer the vertical crop which still gives enough open space and environment IMO.
