At first I thought this was a woodpecker of some kind, but no…a wren! So dynamic and full of life. I particularly like how the leading foot is curled over the tree bark. The eye is so engaging, too. The immediacy is really enticing. Oh and that butt. So typical of wrens. They just can’t keep that tail still can they? Super job.
Sweet image of a sweet little wren. The pose is wonderful and as other have said, it’s full of life. Background is nice. In the “izoomed” in image I can see a few little stray bits of something that could easily be removed.
Hi David, an intense look you captured with fine detail. I find the chestnut color of the bird’s eye quite interesting. Fine pose and a nice setting. I see what appears to be a stray artifact to the right of the bird’s tail.
Yes, I am aware of the stray artifacts in this image. Unfortunately, my Parkinson’s medication’s affect my vision and I have cataracts which are also affects my vision. Cataract surgery is on the horizon.
I saw my Parkinson’s doctor yesterday and she discovered that I had dystonia in the neck. So we’re gonna try some Botox next month and see if that helps with some of the discomfort. I’m having. I’m thinking positive.
Wow, beautiful wren photo!
I just had cataract surgery on both eyes! What a difference! I just got the standard lens. Sure helps with spotting the birds and other wildlife in the field. I hope your treatment makes life better for you!!
A very lovely image!! If it’s a digital image and you still have the raw file, I could see a little less contrast. I’ll add my hopes for some relief. It’s just too much when issues from multiple causes have to be dealt with.
