Description
I love the Oregon coast with its beautiful, rugged coastline. Boiler Bay, near Depot Bay, is one of my favorite locations to photograph. I captured this photo using six-frame panorama to capture its vastness. It was captured using my Nikon Z8 with Nikkor Z 14-30mm f/4S @ 27mm @ 1/320 sec at f/8 on May 16, 2024.

I like the composition. Looks like a great place to shoot. Reminds me of the Maine coastline in Acadia National Park.
A few minor nits. It might be optical illusion .There’s not much clear visible ocean line to judge but seems to have a slight CC rotation. Also some of the highlights in the waves are clipped. Also a cloning error in LLC?
Thank you, Michael, for you observations and suggestions. I also had concerns with the coastline perspective and tried several rotations, but settled on the one I presented. It is really weird, so I think it is an optical illusion. I am not sure which cloning issue you are referring to. I will take a closer look. Again, thank you for your comments.
Yes I think it is just an illusion. The area I’m talking about is just above your logo.
Thank you, Michael. I will try and locate and correct the cloning error. I don’t remember cloning anything on this photo, but it is a panorama, so it may be a stitching error. Regardless, thanks for the catch.
Looks like a brown smudge and some branches sticking out of the water.
Got it, thanks. I was pretty obvious once I looked.
